Harriet Kwok is an Associate at Karas So LLP. She has experience in commercial litigation, complex large-scale corporate insolvency and contentious probate matters. She has also spent time on secondment at Mishcon de Reya LLP in London where she worked closely with foreign counsel on multiple high value cross-jurisdictional matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Harriet worked at the Enforcement division of the Securities and Futures Commission focusing on the investigation of insider dealing and market manipulation.

- Advising liquidators of a Singapore-listed water treatment company engaged in public-private service concession arrangements in Singapore court proceedings against the company’s former CEO for breaches of fiduciary duty and auditors for audit negligence.
- Advising liquidators of Hong Kong-listed groups engaged in false accounting schemes in high profile claims against the companies’ former auditors. The businesses include paper trading and manufacturing, water purification and wireless telecommunications.
- Advising a former school supervisor of a well-known Christian school in Hong Kong against multiple claims in passing off and unlawful means conspiracy, fraudulent misrepresentation and fraudulent breach of duties for declaratory and injunctive reliefs.
- Advising two of five children in relation to their parents’ estate in matters involving mentally incapacitated persons (MIPs) under the Mental Health Ordinance (Cap. 136) and proceedings under the Enduring Power of Attorney Ordinance (Cap. 501).
- Advising administrators, executors and beneficiaries of estates in probate proceedings.
